The quintessential mountain town of Stanley, Idaho lies nestled between the White Cloud and Sawtooth Mountain ranges and borders the Salmon River. This sleepy winter town comes to life during the summer months when the river guides and tourists come to town. The organizers of the Sawtooth Music Festival have been taken with this unique town and the characters in this community for more than half of their lives. SMF was born and raised on the combined love of Stanley and music and we work hard to bring people to Stanley and expose them to this amazing town and the beauty that surrounds.
